The morning started with the usual morning coffee 8 floors above our stateroom, ugh!! Get's a little tough around Deck 8! Gotta keep climbing though.

We arrived right on time and we cleared the port authority. This was a tendered stop meaning that we use both the ships and private tenders to get from the ship (which is anchored off shore) to shore. It can get pretty busy with everyone trying to get ashore but it does work itself out.
We had nothing formally planned here so we went ashore just to look around as we had never been here before. We decided that we should try to find some lanyards to be able to hang our Sea Passes around our necks after Paul nicely punched a hole in ours. Well, trying to explain what a lanyard is or what it is for might sound like an easy enough thing to do - NOT. Marcel, Carole, Diane and I went in and out of many shops but with no success, either they did not have them or we just couldn't get the description across to them. Oh well, we had fun trying.

| Inside the bar - hmmm... |
During our walk about we met up with Doug and Sue and decided it was warm enough to have a drink (gotta replace those liquids, that's my story and I'm sticking to it). We all went into a little bar for a quick beer. As you can see the exterior and interior of the bar was appointed with some unusual decorations :).
There were many vendors but none of them were intrusive and getting right in your face which is something we do not like.

We wandered around a bit more took some pictures then headed back to the ship. There was about a ten minute wait for the tender back to the boat. Celebrity had cold water and ice towels waiting for us at the dock - nice.
Funny thing happened after we returned to the ship: we were amazed at how parched we had become! Well, keeping with the philosophy of being well hydrated we thought a drink or two would help the cause, and it did!
